Pumpkin Bowl Pottery Wheel Workshop

Work with an experienced potter on the pottery wheel to create a large Pumpkin Bowl with step by step instructions. You will learn how to center 3 pounds of clay, and the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. Then shape your bowl into the curved sections of a pumpkin. No experience needed! After the workshop, your piece will take time to air dry, and then be fired in our kiln.

Return after 2 weeks to paint your Pumpkin Bowl in your own style with colorful pottery glazes (no appointment needed, and no additional charge). Then it goes into the kiln again for a final firing, and ready 2 weeks after you have painted it. Your piece will be dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe.
Ages 10 and up.
