The Slumber Party Massacre:
A slasher film directed by a woman was (and still is) a real rarity, so you have to hand it to Corman, he produced several, including the weirdly off-kilter SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE. Though originally intended as a full-on parody (written by feminist icon Rita Mae Brown no less), it was instead shot (sort-of) straight. Did we mention that the murderer of nubile young women in this film has a really big… power drill? 

The Slumber Party Massacre II:
If you thought the first one was wild, just wait until you see the sequel! A survivor of the original massacre is about to celebrate her 18th birthday so she invites a group of friends to a slumber party. Unfortunately, the killer from the first film has been reincarnated— for some reason—as a psychotic greaser with a cherry-red guitar that sports a giant drill attachment.
